Special Poached eggs for Breakie

Well we think they are special


We have carefully placed the eggs into some clingwrap, ensuring that they are securely wrapped to prevent any water from seeping in, and then immersed them into Morg's pot filled with boiling water. This method of cooking eggs, often referred to as sous vide, allows for a gentle and even cooking process, resulting in perfectly cooked eggs with a creamy texture. The boiling water creates a consistent temperature, which is essential for achieving the desired doneness without the risk of overcooking. As the eggs simmer away, we can already imagine the delightful aroma that will soon fill the kitchen.


In addition to the eggs, we also cooked some crispy bacon, allowing the fat to render out and create that perfect crunch that complements our breakfast beautifully. The sizzling sound of the bacon in the pan is music to our ears, and the rich, savory scent wafts through the air, making our mouths water in anticipation. Alongside the bacon, we browned some potatoes, cooking them until they are golden and crispy on the outside while remaining tender on the inside. The combination of the smoky bacon and the hearty potatoes adds a wonderful depth of flavour to our breakfast spread. Together with the perfectly cooked eggs, we are creating a delicious and satisfying breakfast that is sure to energize us for the day ahead.
