Are you ready to take your breakfast game up a notch? Let’s scramble some eggs with a little flair and pack in some flavour with Pak Choi! Perfect for a weekend brunch or when you want to feel a little gourmet on a Saturday morning. 😄
Ingredients:
4 to 6 medium eggs (depends how hungry you are!)
1 handful of fresh Pak Choi (just grab a bunch of leaves and chop chop – don’t overthink it)
A splash of cream (the creamier, the dreamier!)
Salt and pepper to taste (a little dash of this and that)
1 clove of garlic (because garlic makes everything better)
1 handful of grated cheese (go wild with your favourite extra tasty cheese)
Directions:
Chop & prep: Start by giving the Pak Choi a good chop! Select those green leafy tops from the stems and finely dice your garlic – we’re going for a subtle but tasty garlic hit.
Sauté time: In a pan, sauté the garlic and the Pak Choi leaves with a little butter or oil over medium heat. Once those start softening up and the garlic is smelling amazing.
Scramble away: Whisk up your eggs with that splash of cream. Pour the mixture into the pan with the Pak Choi and stir gently. You want to scramble them until they’re soft, fluffy, and cooked to perfection.
Cheese, please: Right before you take the eggs off the heat, sprinkle in your grated cheese. Let it melt into those creamy, dreamy scrambled eggs. Add salt and pepper to taste, and you’re done!
Serve this Pak Choi Scrambled Eggs masterpiece with a side of toast or just dig in straight from the pan.
Or some cottage cheese, splash of Maggi seasoning and chilly sauce Either way, it's going to be a fancy but oh-so-comforting way to start your day. Enjoy!
