If you're a fan of tender, flavourful lamb, this "low and slow" BBQ lamb chops recipe is perfect for you! Using simple ingredients like fresh vegetables, rosemary, and charcoal, you'll be amazed at how easy it is to make succulent lamb chops that fall off the bone.
Ingredients:
3 BBQ lamb chops
2 medium potatoes
2 carrots
1 onion
3 cloves of garlic
1 chicken stock cub
Fresh rosemary from the garden
and 1 apple for sweetness
Instructions:
Prepare the lamb chops: Start by browning the lamb chops in a large pan or straight on the grill to sear in the flavours.
Chop the vegetables: Dice the potatoes, carrots, apple and onion into medium-sized chunks. Crush the garlic cloves.
Slow cook the lamb: Grab your Morg's Pots large fry pan, add the browned lamb chops, the diced vegetables, and the garlic. Sprinkle fresh rosemary over the top for that delicious aromatic flavour.
Cook low and slow: Cook everything together on low heat for 3 to 4 hours. Don’t rush this process; cooking low and slow ensures the lamb becomes tender and full of flavour.
For added flavour: If you're cooking with charcoal, you’ll get a lovely, subtle smoky flavour that elevates the dish.
Tips:
Be patient with the cooking time; slow-cooked lamb is worth the wait!
Fresh rosemary really enhances the flavour—if you can, use it from your garden.
